Double Happy is an upscale bar & club located in the heart of Christchurch’s nightlife. Operated by the team behind the neighboring Concrete Club, Double Happy's aim is to deliver top quality entertainment in one of New Zealand's finest club surroundings.

Since opening in November 2006, Double Happy has hosted some of Aotearoa's finest talents including Minuit, Shapeshifter DJs, Soane, Urban Notion, Pacific Heights, Joe Dukie & DJ Fitchie, DJ Sticky Fingaz, Partido & Soul Providah, Pig Out, Dick Johnson, Roger Perry, Shannon Aston, Aragorn, Riki...with more locals and internationals to come keep locked into Double Happy.

Total guest capacity of 420, spread over the, lounge 150 guests, ballroom 200 guests, vip 20 guests & courtyard 50 guests.

Features: Double Happy is an upscale bar & club with an Asian fusion theme. Bold custom wallpaper matched with subtle fabrics set the backdrop for stylized screenwork.

Music Policy: Funk, House, Liquid Drum & Bass.

Pricing: Drinks from $7, bottles to $420.

Audio/ Visual: Lounge, 2x Technics 1200, Vestax PMC 007 mixer, Pioneer CDJ800 running through 10x 12” MCR topboxes and 1x twin 18” MOW sub. Ballroom, 2x Technics 1200, Allen & Heath XOne62 mixer, 2x Pioneer CDJ 1000MK2, Behringer pro mixing console running through 5x 18” EV Xi topboxes and 2x twin 18” EV QR subs. All systems powered by EV amps.
4x EVL 250 moving head fixtures programmed and running through Hog3pc lighting controller.
